Unless the franchisor agrees otherwise in writing, franchisees (or the majority owner, if the franchisee is an entity) and their manager must complete the Initial Camp Services Training Program to the franchisor’s satisfaction, in its sole discretion, prior to beginning operations. However, the franchisor reserves the right to alter this program and/or the locations of such training at any time. The eight-day classroom/in-camp training program is typically held in the franchisor’s Westminster, Colorado office and corporate camp (or at another location designated by the franchisor). Training Overview: Franchisees are responsible for making sure that their personnel are properly trained to the franchisor’s standards and requirements. Some camps also provide optional “Bark ‘n Ride” shuttle services. Franchisees may choose to perform dog training services through employees or independent contractors whom they hire or retain who meet certain minimum experience and training requirements that the franchisor identifies in the operations manuals. CBW franchises must offer the following services: dog boarding, dog day care, and certain dog grooming services at a specially designed pet care facility. CBW franchises the right to operate “Camp Bow Wow” businesses offering specialized pet care services through fixed store locations and mobile units, the retail sale of pet food and merchandise, and related services and products.
